If Historical Figures Were Alive Today: Richard Pryor

Ah, If Historical Figures Were Alive Today. How I’ve missed you.

For those of you who don’t know, I’m a psychic medium able to communicate with the dead. that’s approximately 90% bullshit and 10% truth. The 10% comes from all the times I played the Ace Game or with the Ouiji board in middle school.

In this segment, I aways resurrect someone of importance, a person who could say something profound about what’s happening in society today that I am incapable of doing. And what with the repeal of the Voting Rights Act by the US Supreme Court, and the stalking and slaughtering of Trayvon Martin, I thought it appropriate to bring back one of the most prolific, scathing comedians: Richard Pryor. I wanted to see what he had to say about everything.

Without further ado… Richard Pryor:

  1. Whit,
    HA!!! You’re good.
On an unrelated note, did you know that Stanley Kubrick would have been 85 years old today? What would he have said about society if he was alive today?

    1. Whatever he’d say, I bet it would involve a looooooong pause; someone with their head tilted down, and eyes looking up; then something muttered almost devoid of emotion, yet ripe with hidden subtext.

Jump in; the water's fine!
