Ah, If Historical Figures Were Alive Today. How I’ve missed you.
For those of you who don’t know, I’m a psychic medium able to communicate with the dead. that’s approximately 90% bullshit and 10% truth. The 10% comes from all the times I played the Ace Game or with the Ouiji board in middle school.
In this segment, I aways resurrect someone of importance, a person who could say something profound about what’s happening in society today that I am incapable of doing. And what with the repeal of the Voting Rights Act by the US Supreme Court, and the stalking and slaughtering of Trayvon Martin, I thought it appropriate to bring back one of the most prolific, scathing comedians: Richard Pryor. Ok, that’s funny! 🙂
I hope it captures the sentiment accurately. Ha.
HA!!! You’re good.

I always am delighted to see you around here! Welcome!

Truth. Also, hi friend! How the heck are ya?

Story of my life. Trying to get back on my writing feet, as it were.
Ha! That was great.
Thank you for thinking so! 🙂
Ahhhhhhh, thank you……………Dad has very fond memories of RP and Gene Wilder, a very odd but effective comedy couple!
You are quite welcome, friend! Thank you!!
have I told u I love your blog!!! no bullshit…clear to the point 😀

I actually read it in my best “white girl impersonating Richard Pryor” voice. Well done.
Hahaha. Technically, I’m mixed. So your best “mixed-girl” impersonating Richard Pryor, which is effectively the same as the best “white girl” impersonation.
Thanks so much!
Ha! I’m mixed, too….Mr. Pryor doesn’t really sound right with a Latina accent, though 😉
