Thanataphobia: Haiku(s)

Ceiling fan switchblade
chop-chop-slice-chop-chop-slice-slice
decapitated

Leaving fingerprints
everywhere, I’m surprised that
they didn’t kill me

Escape courses set
I know the heat resistance
of our tile flooring

  1. Yes!!! I actually never stand or sleep directly under a ceiling fan. Perfect haiku! I also don’ t like to walk under scaffolding or over grates, I never eat hard candy without biting it first to cut it in half, and I hate driving behind trucks carrying stuff that looks like it might dislodge and kill me, i.e. cars, gigantic logs, or other big things.

      1. Yep. It’s the one death that stuck with me the most from the two Final Destination movies I watched. I haven’t been able to get myself to watch the others. But this post is making me want to. Thanks!
